decode an attachment? If that didn't work, then you will need an external decoder such as WinZip When attempting to decode a message, Ameol creates a .DAT file with the original message in it. Thus we suggest that you associate .DAT files with WinZip so that after the failed decode, you can simply double-click on the .DAT file and WinZip will show you all of the included files ready for extraction. (N.B., The .DAT file will be in your ~\Ameol2\Users\ADMIN directory. If you are using a different user, then substitute ADMIN with the appropriate value.) Q) Ameol won't decode an attachment I've been sent in an
e-mail. Why not? What- can I do? If Ameol2.54 or later cannot decode the message try using the attachment decoder from Message menu.
