Decodes the many acronyms frequently used on CIX, such as FAQ, ROFL etc. When you see one you don't recognise; in the Ameol message window, simply place the mouse cursor over the word and press the Right mouse button, and the meaning will be shown in a popup window.

N.B., The acronyms dictionary is regularly updated by p_elphick and you should also download the latest version.

Ameol Rule Reader (ameolRR.exe) allows the conferencing and mail rules set within Ameol to be exported in a number of formats for
review or printing. Formats include a full english description of each rule, HTML tables, or CSV files.

AmeolRR is a stand alone program which can be added to the Ameol toolbar. It is not an add-in.

This version works with multi-user Ameol set-ups. It requires Ameol2 and the Microsoft .NET framework to be loaded. The .NET framework is available for free on the Microsoft web site.

The .zip file contains the program executable and a .txt readme file which gives the simple operating instructions and the usual caveats. Please read before running the program.

AmHTML is an addon for Ameol 2, which provides quick and convenient viewing and printing of messages which are formatted in HTML. If the HTML material contains quoted-printable encoded text (i.e., it contains sequences like "=20" and "=3D") these will be properly decoded before display.

This add-on is intended to help when using an external program to decode messages that Ameol has problems handling properly.

ExtDec takes the content of the current message and writes it to a temporary file. It then launches the chosen application with the temporary file's name as a parameter. Once the external program has completed, the add-on deletes the temporary file.

This is a Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000 Explorer (and Windows NT FileManager) addon for Ameol2, which allows you to binmail files or send mail attachments to other users. Once installed you can right click on file(s) in Explorer and select the "Send via Ameol2" option on the menu, fill in the To and Description fields so the next time you blink the files will be sent.

Once installed you can right click on file(s) in Explorer and select the 'Send via Ameol2' option on the menu, fill in the To and Description fields and the next time you blink the files will be sent.

You can optionally check the 'Send as Single Package (Zip Compatible)' checkbox, which will Zip up the file(s) before sending them. (and if you wish you can specify a name for the Zip file).
